Researchers learned a function of enzyme MORC2, that helps organise DNA and turn off genes when not needed. Mutations in MORC2 cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a rare condition that weakens muscles. These findings could lead to new treatments. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
