11 years ago I started suffering debilitating health anxiety. After a terrible year, calling an amazing crisis charity almost nightly, calling doctors far too much and a few panic induced A&E visits, I got therapy. I slowly got better, I was anxiety free, until 6 months ago. Now it's back.

So I redid my cast on and rib, and I'm onto my second pattern repeat. First time doing cables, first time knitting twisted stitches, no variegation to hide mistakes. I'm being forgiving to myself, but I think it's looking ok (and a little festive)!

I miscalculated my cast on. This is why you don't cast on when tired. I needed 72 stitches, 36 stitches twice. I missed 4. I knit the rib and only noticed when the pattern didn't fit the stitches! I can't even use the rib and change the size as it's a different rib pattern for the smaller size 😭
