I'm ironing. In Lanzarote. I have ironed ONE item in at least 10 years and that was fabric to make my sisters Christmas present. Ironing means I can sleep in the adjustable beds with the lovely mattresses.

Just noticed, my new passport, kept in a safe pocket of a new bag. Used to depart Aberdeen and get into Paris, looks tatty af already. My old maroon one spent 10 years riding loose in my pockets, bags, all sorts of containers. Far less damage.

So this flight has a French cabin crew and we have some amazingly cunty looks with the standard uniform. Making the delay more visually appealing. The cunty little neckerchief is my fav.

All sorted and waiting for my gate. I've got 7 things with stupid batteries and that just feels like far too much responsibility. The downside of taking my mum her yearly supplies. I am so tired my eyes aren't eager to focus, and last night I got pure shampoo in my eye, rinsing just foamed it. Ow.

Today I get to fly on an A319 and an A21N. An excellent pair of aircraft. Sadly no baby bus, but we can't always be lucky (or expecting one to fly from Aberdeen). I haven't been on a plane for about 4 years. I LOVE flying. I am overexcited!

So I'm up, washed, dressed, and fully packed. I'm not leaving for almost an hour. The only thing to improve my preparedness is to put my passport in my pocket, except this new blue one feels like it might crumple if I do that.

So my flight (in just under 7h) has already been delayed 40 minutes. The 4 hour get through CDG, get bags, check back in, get back through CDG buffer is now closer to 3h

So I'm having fun, and this is how I discover all my devices have different screens. The red colour looks, depending on the screen, festive, like bricks, or dirty. That's quite a variation!
