It's been a year since I had oral surgery to remove my teeth, sparking a multi month journey of mystery illness, catastrophic weight loss, nausea, and fatigue. Just kinda feeling a lot.

It’s incredible to me how publishing professionals will use AI for the work that they are paid a salary to do. At the same time, they require writers’ work to be completely original, unpaid until they decide otherwise, for pennies. Just breathtaking.

Rocket has finished her course of antibiotics!

Rocket just took her 6th dose of antibiotics. Only 4 more to go. She's bouncing back like a champ.

Rocket ate several squeeze tubes today and took her meds like a champ. 1/3 of the way through!

Rocket was in a bad place last night and I thought today might be my last day with her. But she is up and about and eating!!

I want a pink toad bag so badly. I don't know when I can afford one, but I want it.

The vet called. They ran the urine sample and Rocket has a UTI. This MAY be cause for her kidney values. She's going to get antibiotics for a bit and then we'll retest her blood.

Tonight I had a class that reminded me why I love teaching #crochet. I am mildly ambidextrous due to autistic reasons. I had a student who is left-handed and had almost given up on learning. I can crochet with both hands, so I switched to my left. She caught on almost immediately and was giggling.
