Are any of my mutuals incredibly slow writers and thoughtful readers? For my lit degree, I had to read over 25 novels a semester—which stressed me out. I did, aced my classes, but it took a huge toll. It’s one of the reasons, other than the cost, as to why I didn’t pursue a PhD in Literature.

In my lowest moments, this has kept me going. This one thought. My reason for living: to write and change people’s perspectives.
