It’s a sort of mill grind of a system. Kids and parents don’t care whether an author is shiny and new at all. In fact they’d rather they were an established writer. 🤷‍♀️ I never really experienced the debut thing as you don’t particularly get it in young fiction.

All the discussions on Adolescence in the media seem to focus on the dangers of smartphones and social media. But what how society has made male violence acceptable? What about teaching our boys and young men that the opposite sex are people not just barriers to to men getting what they want?
