Possible to have a good personal relationship with a coach and still not have them rate your skill set as a player the way other coaches do. Fuller should be a consistent starter. Under Straus, she wasn’t. Separately, I don’t get the sense the Straus departure was planned for many reasons.

1. As the old NBA adage goes, if you're firing your coach before midseason, you should've fired them in the offseason. 2. It takes a special brand of stupid to wait TWO AND A HALF WEEKS into a month long break to fire said coach.
