I had a couple of interviews today with potential Beat/KCB contributors. Both women. Both mentioned that they have had problems with stalkers. It's been a constant thing I've heard during this process. THIS IS SO FUCKING UNCOOL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!???!??!???!?

We gotta bump those Manga Lettering rates up big-time, give em the time and incentive to really craft this shit properly. I can't keep dealing with official lettering that looks like it's from 2013 Mangafox scans.

Probably the funniest thing I did after learning Grant Morrison was a big fan of my work is going 'Oh lmao' and then ignoring it to go onto write multiple essays dissecting the many failings and limitations of their work. Outer validation does nothing for me I fear.

A critic said once "Morrison's Batman Run" was so impactfull that all the following runs are influenced by him and tried to answer it. So, is curious that the perfect answer is made (V's), and then just after that the first run out of Morrison vibes starts (Fraction's).

I am going to gift this to so many people.

This is lowkey me after I've written anything. I do the best I can, get as much as I can out of the experience. Then after, my brain's like 'I've failed' and can only really see the flaws/limits, and just obsesses over all the ways it could've been better. 😂 No validation etc does anything.

Nothing worse than a 'talking scene' in a comic that's visualized like a 'staring at the screen' youtuber apology video. Therapy Talk comics if you will, you know the sort.
