The 19th century abolitionist movement utilized a diversity of tactics and engaged in constant critical internal debate in the mission to end slavery. The movement needed speeches, lawyers, lawbreakers, newspapers, and armed resisters. History teaches us that freedom requires all of the above.

Yes, thatâs right. The <public> University of Wisconsin - Madison now receives only 15% of its funding from the state, even as the legislature retains near-total regulatory control over us. Unfunded mandates & the privatization of public universities are No Good & Very Bad & we shouldnât have them.

Absolutely no reason whatsoever for this kind of behavior. They could have literally just handed her a Notice to Appear in immigration court. There is zero (ZERO) requirement to take her into custody. The law is clear that arrest for someone who isn't "mandatory detention" is a MAY not a SHALL.
