SOTD: Brutal by Demolished Studio, which is anything but its name, a flash of verdant citrus what’s quickly enveloped in a pastel jelly of iris and amber. It’s bright, refracting sun beams through a hazy gelatin of kumquat and bergamot. Beautiful, sedate, soft, and fresh. It just works. #perfumesky

The bottle I got in Mexico City. Ummo by Xinu. A ritualistic spirit world made of tobacco smoke the texture of honey and the woody edges of something immense and floral about to embrace you. A deep, transcendent, dark embrace. #perfumesky

After some work meetings, I got the chance to drop by Xinu perfumes in Mexico City. The experience of the store was unreal, with raw materials positioned in vignettes to explore what makes the fragrance you’re testing. I adored it and managed to be good and walk away with only one bottle #perfumesky

Flight SOTD: Pipe Bomb Intense by Blackbird. It’s like lightning striking an ocean made of liquid metallic oud. Somehow so soft and ethereal but persistent thanks to a dose of ISO-E with some amber and smoke. I prefer the regular Pipe Bomb formula but it’s clogged with salt crystals? #perfumesky

Decided to treat myself to some luxury skincare. Got The North Wind & The Sun by Scorpion & Toad. The oil balm, Frogs Asking For A King, feels like magic.
