This yellow jacket wasp nest is so big that it's forming a hexagon, the same shape as the cells. Maybe 6"-7" across. It's up and out of the way, so I'll let them be. They're not aggressive and are actually beneficial insects. I hate to kill things unnecessarily. #wasps #insects

Another thing that brings me joy is maintaining our community lake park, Silver Creeck Village Lake Park. Since the floods in July I've been hauling off driftwood and cleaning up the shoreline and maintaining the grass and trees. Pictures on the thread are right after the floods showing debris.

It's amazing how much space vacuum packing saves. I received a small box of foam acoustic panels and thought there's no way 400 could fit in there. Once they relax, it's 10 times the vacuum pack size. The blue is still growing.
