Longtime South Florida pirate radio operator Abdias Datis was arrested by Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputies while on the air at his home in Biscayne Gardens on Tuesday. 🏴‍☠️ The FCC says he has operated 91.7 "Unique FM" since 2018. Datis was charged for similar offenses in 2006 and 2007.

Connoisseur Media's big acquisition of Alpha Media was OK'd by the FCC. 🤝 In addition to approval of the transfer, the FCC OK'd a waiver for Alpha's 5 FM stations in the Tyler-Longview, Texas, market, which are grandfathered in over the local ownership cap. My story @radio-world.bsky.social:
