I think it says a lot there there are no Jubilee videos about Gen X.

Manga is exclusively comics created in Japanese published in the Japanese publishing system for a Japanese audience. Otherwise, it is comics. Only the country of publication and language matters. Otherwise the word has no meaning.

Manga is a designation of country of origin, not an art style.

What I find is that those who talk about a "manga style" are those whose experience with manga is highly limited. They know the big hits... the shonen and shojo superstars. Are you influenced by a specific artist? Excellent. Then say that instead of "manga style." Give artists identity.
