I am sickened by how so many people assume every homeless person is mentally ill, criminal, or an adict. While some are, some people with homes to go to are as well. Sometimes a person just can't make enough money to rent a place. Sometimes there are other reasons.

The country is so messed up that my friend and I often can't handle talking to each other about the events. Instead my friend asked "Have you been following any court cases lately?" When true crime and court cases are a safer topic than anything else.

So very good news, the evacuation zone of the Chemical incident in Garden Grove has been reduced again today. It is now mostly just the business area closest, though there are still related road closures. Garden Grove CA Emergency page has more information but I've included a screenshot.
