A cemetery and shrine, likely dedicated to Hercules, have just been excavated in Rome's Parco delle Acacie. Two tombs with cremation urns and a sarcophagus, dating to around the fourth century B.C., are of particular interest.

A lot of people are using the phrase "unspeakable horrors" to describe what's happening in America right now, as if ICE and MAGA are Lovecraftian beasts, and of course, by "Lovecraftian", I do mean "unrepentantly racist".

100% I grew up out in the sticks in the 1970s. I live in Pittsburgh, far from the most diverse or metropolitan place on Earth, but it's no slouch, and I would never willingly move back to chud country.

Demonizing specifically white women who act in solidarity with racial minorities isn’t new. Here’s a southern political cartoon depicting Harriet Beecher Stowe, published in 1853. Surrounded by devils, she‘s holding a book titled “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.” Subtitle: “I Love the Blacks.”

Free anti - ICE artwork in various sizes, for stickers, shirts, fliers, etc. The guy who created them asks that if you sell stuff with the image that you donate to an appropriate charity or gonfundme that aids immigrants or victims of ICE.

no longer content to just take your money, a handful of oligarchs, many of them immigrants to these shores, are now taking whats left of your freedom and political power. the very idea that you might have a say in your local government or sit unmolested in your home is offensive to them

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter. I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.
