Okay this is sappy but really I think one of my favorite things about parenting is how much toddlers can appreciate really good art? He obviously also likes plenty of crap, but if I put on the Wizard of Oz, or Fantasia, or a classic musical, or a Miyazaki movie, that kid is locked in with awe.

It's definitely a ploy for more screentime but lately my toddler has been asking us "what's your favorite movie? Let's watch YOUR favorite movie," and it's so sweet and cute, and also I got to watch Singing in the Rain last night so it's a real win.
