I still need to write this a real review, but this was my favourite read of 2024! It is SO funny and charming, I love the romance, the awfulness of the horrible little gremlin MC, the gardening, the questing, and especially the godly pantheon and surrounding religion. HIGHLY recommend. It's lovely.

I finished _Glass Houses_ by @madelineashby.bsky.social last night, and _The Mimicking of Known Successes_ by @older.bsky.social this afternoon. Very good SF mysteries both, but the protagonists couldn't be more different, and I have to admit that after Glass Houses, I needed a change.
