This single family home in my neighborhood sold for $1.1M in late 2023. It’s had a thorough rehab, and is now being marketed as… a $3.63M single family home. Please tell me exactly how that is a better outcome than anything that the new base zoning allows, Cathy Zusy.

This is my second most hated street sign (can you guess the most?) This alerts you to an infrastructure failure in action. Not surprisingly I did not see all that many bikers in a place with zero bike infrastructure. Just cars cars cars cars cars. And beleaguered pedestrians

The results of my public records request for drone footage from the Boston Police were a little anticlimactic. I'll share some highlights here, but the TL;DR is that they fly around ahead of time checking out the rooftops around the protest, and then sort of skulk overhead while it happens. 1/?

Today, my GF and I went to a coffeehouse right after Bike Bus. I was wearing my Bike Bus jacket. A 78 year old lady who lives along our route came up to us, told us how much the Bike Bus enlivened the street, thanked us, and asked when the next brass band parade ride was. Reader, I did tear up.

Every car in your city represents $8-12K/year being sucked out of your local economy instead of being spent on housing, goods & services. I wish more parking-obsessed retailers & elected officials understood this.

Vision Zero, or Zero Vision? Yesterday 100+ activists packed Boston City Hall to demand accountability from the City. What did we get? A promise of a mere 2.5 miles of bike lanes, just 100 speed humps, and lackluster platitudes around commitment. Our city deserves better. Safe streets can't wait.
