John Collins' three-year contract with the Detroit Pistons is $17M flat per season. Year 1 is fully guaranteed, while Years 2 and 3 are both non-guaranteed with late-June guarantee dates, a league source told @spotrac.com.

I’ll also say that I’ve been in a few rooms with Jaylen over the years, like the “Celtics City” premiere. All I ever saw was someone who was effortlessly engaging and didn’t act above anyone. Really admirable people-person. He’s had to deal with the “too smart” crap since before the draft.

A good post but I think the drop in local TV money should be seen as an exacerbation of a problem and not the genesis of one. I was able to predict the Celtics future pretty closely in 2023 just from the new CBA even when we expected 10% cap increases because the CBA is fundamentally out of balance.
