I hate to say this but that’s not really surprising. USLS is not drawing anywhere near what it needs to in order to be viable. Pushing and forcing Division I was a mistake that cost them a ton. And now under USSF’s own standards, they may not get DI sanctioning in 2027.

This move is arguably the correct decision to make for #USLS, the league was struggling attendance wise and the calendar prevented them from really opening up to northern markets. They also really should drop down to D2 status, which also could alleviate additional problems they have.
