Galileo OSNMA Day OSNMA Initial Service brings authentication into use: - It helps counter spoofing by letting users verify navigation data is genuinely from Galileo. - The declaration also supports EU rules for Smart Tachograph v2: new smart tachographs in the EU must integrate OSNMA.

EGNOS Workshop 2025: EGNOS continues to grow. In 2024, EGNOS ESMAS became operational, bringing new benefits to maritime. We are working to combine EGNOS with Galileo HAS, OSNMA and Copernicus to support safer, cleaner navigation. This also extends to @ertms.bsky.social.

Welcoming Swedish Defence Minister Pål Jonson to EUSPA. From safeguarding assets to building secure communications, EUSPA is working to ensure space strengthens European resilience and autonomy. Sweden is an active contributor to the EU Space Programme, making today’s exchange especially meaningful.

When in the Netherlands: just a short walk from Noordwijk beach, you’ll find the Galileo Reference Centre. Together with DG DEFIS colleagues, we visited the GRC, monitoring Galileo’s performance daily. It provides EUSPA and EU stakeholders with an independent check on the quality of GNSS services.
