The EUSPA User Consultation Platform (UCP) and Space Downstream Day brought together users, industry, and institutional stakeholders to discuss current needs and future opportunities in EU space downstream applications.

EUSPA is now managing the two new Galileo satellites as part of the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP). The satellites were launched earlier this morning by Arianespace and have now reached the holding point, with their solar panels successfully deployed.

Ariane 6 is set to launch two new Galileo satellites on 17 December 2025, at 2:01 a.m. local time (5:01 a.m. UTC, 6:01 a.m. CET),) from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. The satellites, SAT 33–34, will further reinforce Europe’s navigation capability.
