Hot take: Games need to stop cleaning up the plot. Leave loose ends, unanswered questions, and plot holes. Let people theorize or discuss about it. Not everything needs to be finished with a nice little bow on top. It adds more mystery and intrigue this way. #videogames

Went for the Omakase experience at Gute Leute and it was fantastic!!! Got a choice between last year's Omakase and this new year's one! We ended up doing the Best of 2024 which had 2 different options for 2 so we each got different drinks and tried 7 different drinks! Highly recommend!

Whole Eternal Weekend was fantastic! Haven't played as fun or as good Magic as I have this weekend before! Unfortunately only went 3-3-1 for the Legacy main event but definitely played fantastic! Excited to get home and grind again!!!

Played side events for EW this year! Modern Early Bird went 2-0-1 on Energy, for the Legacy Trial went 3-1, then in the Legacy Double Up went 2-0-1 again on Nadu. Turned $100 of entry into $185 worth of tics! Feeling gooooooood!

Watched Demon Slayer Infinity Castle in 4DX! Was great except the 4DX was a full second off, so we'd get a fight scene and you would get the first punch movement until after it happened, and the fight would stop but you'd still be getting whipped around. Other than that, totally worth it.

If I can't get my head on straight when playing Legacy I think I should just skip Eternal Weekend. Missing my second Scythecat Cubs triggers to then go to the next turn and being unable to loop, the frustration was just too much.

Finally made it to Ultra 4! RNG is so tiring eith this game though. Took me 20 days to get from Ultra 3 to Ultra 4 with all the new decks, RNG losses, e.t.c. Gonna struggle to find motivation to play after Master Ball I think. 🤔

I love getting to top 8, winning game 1, then not drawing a single land for literally 10 turns and then being so tilted you lose game 3 to a misplay. My favorite part of the RCQ grind 🙃

Top 8d an RCQ with Ponza of all things. Immediately adjusted the decklist and went 3-0 at a casual event at my LGS the next day. It's bad btw don't play it XD

Played Nadu with no reps for todays Legacy BCQ. Deck didn't feel great but somehow got to a win and in but lost to top deck fails for 4 turns in a row. Don't know if I'll continue with it but all my wins felt uphill and were pity wins.

I like to make a bouquet of flowers for my S.O. about once a month, still pretty bad at it but looking for feedback!

Playing Magic this weekend has made me very disinterested in Modern. The format feels too one-sided and not bring able to do well with any deck aside from the top 3 is really lame. The day 2 conversion rate really tells the story well.
