I wish there was a way to search groups in VRChat but alas besides VRC.tl, there is no easy way to get a line on what's consistently holding events by region/attendance/etc How do you hop through many many events in the new system without joining all of their groups/hitting the 200 group limit?

My knowledge of the Euro focused VRChat music scene is barren, besides Tube/Subsystem. They start + end before I'm able to hop online usually. I know vastly more about JP scene than EU. What events happen regularly in the EU that don't cater hour-wise to NA/SA folks? What do you like to attend?

VRC has rescinded the consumable nature of the Portable Winterizer, it will act like any other item. If you bought it, you'll have the unlimited use item, if you bought multiple you'll get your credits back by the end of the week. No general statement on future of consumables.

The VRChat Open Beta has added a "View mutuals" button on profiles small and large. It shows a combined number of mutual friends and groups, with lists of both on further drop downs.

Pretty huge VRChat Open Beta update: Boops are back. The quick menu UI has changed. The Launchpad is replaced with the "Live Now" tab with current events happening in your calendar, friend/group locations and upcoming events. Warp Effects (essentially enter/exit animations)

There are now "companions" in the VRChat Store; two companions, Kath and Treats! They follow you around, you can give them pets and you can collect candy from them for the Spookality quest! There's also stickers, a portal skin and animated emoji~

The newest @vrchat.com Open Beta has added a new Shop/Marketplace tab in the menu. Its starting with an "B3-7A" open beta portal skin and a free sticker pack from last years Spookality. You can also now gift avatars or anything else in the new marketplace.

The @transacademy.bsky.social celebrated it's 3rd anniversary last night with its brand new world created by @rio-grande.bsky.social with live music and great DJ sets. It's so optimized, even with 100 folks, it ran so well! Appreciate everyone who has made it the wonderful community it is today! 💜

Specularium by jasper ｡ is a ~30 minute VRChat journey that explores of the concept of surveillance through dystopian environmental storytelling. Striking visuals mixed and a haunting score; with an audiovisual performance w/ music from Ryoji Ikeda, using sine wave/white noise to convey meaning.

Love seeing data from the VRChat community! This is awesome! Favorite takeaways were almost 50% didn’t have physical equipment before DJing in VR and >50% of the DJs were older than 30. Majority JP Community DJs too!
