Now the wait begins! 2026 is going to be the year of Steam Frame + Fluxpose~ Going to be so interesting to have a ton of lobbies with wireless headsets, basestation-less FBT, eye tracking and most likely face tracking (w/ addons). I wonder how the combo will affect social dynamics at large in VR~

I wish there was a way to search groups in VRChat but alas besides VRC.tl, there is no easy way to get a line on what's consistently holding events by region/attendance/etc How do you hop through many many events in the new system without joining all of their groups/hitting the 200 group limit?

My knowledge of the Euro focused VRChat music scene is barren, besides Tube/Subsystem. They start + end before I'm able to hop online usually. I know vastly more about JP scene than EU. What events happen regularly in the EU that don't cater hour-wise to NA/SA folks? What do you like to attend?

The VRChat Open Beta has added a "View mutuals" button on profiles small and large. It shows a combined number of mutual friends and groups, with lists of both on further drop downs.

Pretty huge VRChat Open Beta update: Boops are back. The quick menu UI has changed. The Launchpad is replaced with the "Live Now" tab with current events happening in your calendar, friend/group locations and upcoming events. Warp Effects (essentially enter/exit animations)

There are now "companions" in the VRChat Store; two companions, Kath and Treats! They follow you around, you can give them pets and you can collect candy from them for the Spookality quest! There's also stickers, a portal skin and animated emoji~

The newest @vrchat.com Open Beta has added a new Shop/Marketplace tab in the menu. Its starting with an "B3-7A" open beta portal skin and a free sticker pack from last years Spookality. You can also now gift avatars or anything else in the new marketplace.
