reworked and exchanged the literal armored core mech for my own design of theaboros.

An experienced organizer I really respect once reminded folks "you can't always win, but you can always, always inflict a cost. Those add up."

It's just exhausting to see how many people will gladly parrot "trans rights are human rights" and "trans women are women" whilst still clearly believing neither of those things.

Human rights are something that justify all possible means, up to and including violence, to safeguard and protect. If they really believed we were what we are then they wouldn't accept cutting us off regardless of pressure. Their convictions run to the end of the cliche and no further.

Writing second person perspective is probably the furthest out of my comfort zone I have been in a long time. It is really demanding I rethink how I say literally anything I want to say. That said, it is the kind of endeavor where I cherish every 1-3 lines of progress.

I have officially finished Lamentations of the Dead Dreamer: To Break a Reaver. To be continued in... *checks notes* Book 3: To Break a Blightweaver. I... have what I think is a healthy glimpse into what that might mean. And for once? I am excited without am ounce of dread.

When the chapter title clicks, it's a beautiful moment. Overature to a Terzetto is about respecting what Lyra wants, but trying to very carefully convince her that pain is not something to be suffered through. I love how much focus is built on scenes where Lyra gave her body freely. Too freely.
