Takeaways from this trip are that I am SO excited to come back and spend more time in Kyushu/relatively rural south Honshu. While both weeks here were amazing, that first week bouncing around Kyushu was probably my favorite.

Finally a day trip to Hiroshima before buying my aforementioned massive Charizard. Now I'm on my way to Tokyo to catch a flight to Germany tonight.

Then the best pork I've had in my life followed by me thirsting after my husband at USJ in Osaka

Then we climbed to the top of the mountain where the inari shrine is in Kyoto. There were so many foxes!

Catching up on my Japan posting... Some sights from a snowy morning in Kyoto and the sign entering the onsen in our hotel that cracked me the fuck up

Tomorrow begins a very long convoluted journey home :P With any luck, I'll be in my own bed Monday night.

Tonight starts a very long trip back to Japan for a few weeks :3 I'll be flying out to SFO tonight, then off to Japan tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a smooth trip there!
