Working on the K100 is really pleasant. Everything is so well made and accessible. Full driveline service, parts bin included a new rear rotor (a $300 part!), caliper rebuilds - everything easy-as. The throttle tube is over-engineered - helical gears and a little bike chain pull the cable. #motosky

Parts inventory on the K100 complete. Most of the important stuff is there save for the front fairings (I knew this). Otherwise, I have a mechanically complete bike. PO was ambitious enough to zinc plate all the fasteners but just tossed them all into a "Barrel O' Fun." #motosky

On my flight home from the desert last night I sat next to a very polite and casually chatty 8-year old who did not look at a screen _once_ during a three-hour ride. He mostly perused the aircraft safety card, napped a bit, and looked out the window. Amazing.
