A young friend of mine (whose parents came from Mexico) just asked me to help her with her #genealogy !!! I only know a little bit about Hispanic genealogy, but I know enough basics to get her started.

I just ate the best kielbasa I ever had! Yes, it was from Little Poland in New Britain. Juicy, meaty, hardly any fat or gristle.

Almost done transcribing all the full text stuff I pulled this year, then it gets input. THEN I review my #genealogy research plans. Now I’ll have my holiday time wide open!

This is neat! Connecticut State Library now has a search function for the Special Genealogical Files collection. What is the collection? It's a set of #genealogy notes; copies of Bible pages; and more. I've often used them as a way to check for Bible entries. #Connecticut #familyhistory
