San Josef Bay is in Cape Scott Provincial Park, close to the northwest tip of Vancouver Island. I travelled there with friend, and fellow photographer, @drakedyck.bsky.social on January 30th. We arrived with only 1.5 hours of daylight left. Contre-jour lighting can be a challenge. #vancouverisland

I bought a combined laser rangefinder and exposure meter. It is an L.D. Meter from CHI. Here it is on my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/16. The meter works well, but the red laser dot can be hard to see, especially in bright light. It may be out of place on a 70 approx. year-old camera. #folderweek
