Hello Sandeep @givemeabiscuit.bsky.social and Martin @westen30.bsky.social I have just listened to your latest podcast with guest Luke from Malta. Excellent .... and it is great to hear a youngster so keen to keep the craft going .... and in a commercial as well as personal way. I wish him luck.

So sad to read that Sir Gary Sobers has passed. He was a tremendous all round cricketer and sportsman. A lovely person. I remember seeing him lead the WI team in the 60's. Fantastic .... lovely memories. RIP. #cricket #westindies

Occasionally, very occasionally, one can happen upon a photographer on BSky that just resonates. @alfredjleblanc.bsky.social is one such for me .... and I have followed him today. He has posted exquisite portraits in BnW and mostly using film. Beautiful imagery. #believeinfilm #filmphotography

Purple have been my life soundtrack from about 69. (Plus a few other "supporting" bands). Still pumping out unique music. I have this album. Love it.

I do not have, or need, many cameras .... but last year bought a cheap as chips F60 as an AF back up. A bottom of the range, simplistic, solid camera from 27 years ago, but it works! Until this morning; after 3 frames, instead of winding on - it re-wound! 🤔 The FP4 is now in a FM2n. #believeinfilm

Developed yesterdays mystery film roll and if my research is correct they are from the Jazz and Blues All Star Festival in Stockholm 1982. The sax player is most likely Bud Freeman 1906-1991. Any jazz fans are more than welcome to give further information. So the film sat for 44 years in that camera

#believeinfilm #filmphotography Another print I have made from a 90+ year old negative. It was a tricky job ..... the negs were not pristine and 2 1/4" x 3 1/4". I used a 6 x 6 neg holder (my largest) and cropped. This is my great grandfather - a pork butcher. I never met him.
