This afternoon I managed to make a few snapshots of the Spitfire before it headed back South.

Spent quite a long time last night experimenting with a digital camera at the local blacksmith's yard. I think this is my favourite photo.

Rotten photo but the Spitfire is back 👋🙂 I was washing the VW and it flew overhead, what a sound.

I'm surprised this photo is usable 😀 Taken in Verdant Works Museum in Dundee last Saturday, I think it was 1/50s at f3,5. There's a large flake of paint in between the lenses, not really a problem at small apertures but I know it would be in the way anything wider than f5,6. Yashica A Ilford FP4+

There's another camera at Werkstatt Phil, an MPP Microcord twin lens reflex. It's a bit rough and the slow shutter speeds are very slow/stop. I'll do my usual cleaning the lenses best I can and give it a run at some point.

Not built for speed apparently but I'm happy with that 😂

Spent a while easing off the focus mech threads by gently applying some lighter fluid with a small paintbrush. Seems this is an earlier Lubitel 2 with max shutter speed 1/200s. Get some film next and try it again 🙂👍 #shittycamerachallenge
