I have 5 rolls to develop all 500t 1 that says 800 The rest were shot at 400 I am not even sure if that sticker was the previous roll of the current roll 😂 so either shots will come out or it’s a rather clear roll In that pile is my first roll though the Minolta p’s Time to find out if it works

More Widelux subway F7 500T. The sweep at 1/15 is my go-to moving subjects compress or stretch depending on direction. The two women (right → left, against the rotation) collapse into pin figures. The man behind (left → right) is elongated his foot already 45–60cm ahead of his body. #widelux

Direct comparison from same spot between the nikon 28mm on the xpan and the 45mm You can see the staggeringly vast amount of width opened up by this lens. As expected the edges are lost, but this isn't a problem given the width it gives #xpan #filmphotography

Yesterday I posted about being out with the Xpan - Lucky 200 colour & the 28mm nikon / my 45mm xpan lenses. I haven't cropped the 28mm so you can see how it looks edge to edge. These are f4 on 1/20th developed in ECN2 kit I need to fix tones. Mostly flat scans. #xpan #filmphotography

Films drying from today A roll of lucky seems to be perfectly respectable after its journey through my ecn2 chemicals. Don’t judge, I shoot mostly vision films so it’s all I have. I am looking forward to shooting my first 35mm motion picture film shortly to legit purchase 500t again.

Jesus fecking wept. Just noticed a uk shop has provia / velvia back in stock. I am sure their prices are competitive, however who’s dropping just shy of £30 for a 36 exposure roll 😱😱😱 I rarely say things are too much but that really is… Add in another £30 for scanning / dev & it’s near £2 a frame 😱

1/2 Recently I have been stoating about with a 3:2 eos1n and finding a slightly renewed love for the format with the perspective control Nikon lenses on. I do love my 1n and rarely has it had the 17-40 off. But a 28mm with 11mm shift is finding a way into my heart. I have ordered a contax adapter

Could you imagine in 1965 rolling down the new M6 and seeing this the Forton Services for the first time. Image taken not long after it opened. It is one of many thousands of images I have in my collection ranging from glass plate negs from the 1800's to slides into the 1990's.

1/3 Happy New year to you all. I was doing a wee bit of file housekeeping I came across these: A few years ago the National Theatre of Scotland asked me to do some portraits of one of their choirs for an upcoming exhibition in a local gallery / museum / community space.

The last bake of the year from my san fran. 48 hour ferment I have been using this one more so it’s now at the peak of its oven bouncing. Uncontrollably so 😂 I do try but it still manages to find ways to expand I hadn’t seen.. Prob less sourdough in mix needed. #sourdoug #baking #homebake #bread

Glasgow night scene Tri-X at 1600 - hc110 I am still not sure I like or dislike the the effect the swing lens has on lights. The wider its open the more flaring it creates. Here it is at f5.6-f8 at 2.8 it can be quite overpowering in the image. #filmphotography #film #widelux

Here's a photo of the the Three Towers in Motherwell that came down the other week. This was taken when they were still being used. One of Kodaks odd films, 2468. A positive microfilm with a rather low speed rating at 0.03 ISO give or take. Develops in normal chems. #filmphotography #film
