Amazing news! 🎉 Scottish Green MSP @markruskell.bsky.social is introducing a Bill to ban greyhound racing in Scotland. The Scottish Government and other parties must now support it. In 2023 109 greyhounds died trackside in the UK, with a further 4,238 injured during racing.

Great to see this move to ban the cruelty of greyhound racing in New Zealand. The UK, Australia, Ireland, and the US now need to follow this example as soon as possible. And then we need to recognise that racing horses involves similar cruelty and also needs to end.
