Scotland’s Draft Climate Change Plan doesn't meaningfully address the role of food systems, livestock emissions, or dietary change, despite these being essential for delivering climate goals. We've submitted a response to the consultation, calling for food to be an integral part of the final plan.

Farmfoods dropped its commitment to stop selling caged eggs. Alongside The Humane League UK, RSPCA & Open Cages, we've sent a letter to Farmfoods calling for their cage-free pledge to be reinstated. The future will be cage-free. Farmfoods must stop lagging behind. #EndTheCageAge

Here's a quick look back at Compassion in 2016. 1) We organised the first International Awareness Day to #BanLiveExports. In the UK, we protested outside Parliament. After years of continued pressure, exports were banned from Britain in 2024!
