PSA for Discord's new age verification! If you get hit by it and refuse to give them any ID or face scans as you should, here's a way to just... bypass it. Go to Settings - Family Centre and then just enter a date of birth that's 18+ It's really that simple. Give them nothing.

Discord might have cut ties but they're still planning to roll out age verification globally next month. Continue to cancel your nitro subscriptions, if you haven't done so already. Don't boosts servers as well. Hit them in the wallet.

It could be really bad for Discord if Californians contact the office of the Attorney General to report the potential violations of CCPA and CALOPPA citing the recent breach from a few months back where 1.5tb of user data and millions of IDs were leaked, but who can say for sure?

Discord is already starting to walk things back a little, so people should keep doing what they're doing (cancel Nitro, leave feedback/criticism, direct contact through support tickets/phone/email/etc)

Do whatever it takes to push Discord to change course on this decision, cancel your Nitro subscriptions, send the Discord team messages with valid opinions against Age Verification laws, maybe even find an alternative to Discord if you think that's better.
