The workshop today was about the roles we claim in upholding fascism and what roles we can claim to create a better world. I’m a writer, so that’s where my musings are going. How do I do these two things?

Folklore not as nationalistic enterprise. Not culture-defining and defined tropes and myth. Not nostalgia. But something that is decentralized knowledge. A futurism of folklore, as it were.

So grateful for today’s workshop from @yaffasutopia.bsky.social . I’m honing in on how I can use my skills to prefigure a better world, and address how I uphold the world as it is now. I think the same roles apply here. Folklore is very gross, friends. It has so much fascism on it.
