So we're getting "TikTok with Chinese characteristics." It's like this administration is utterly incapable of understanding what words mean to anyone else. For China, "with Chinese characteristics" basically means "the CCP is the final authority," as in "capitalism with Chinese characteristics."

So, this is quite the useful reminder, not just as we approach books but in other parts of our lives as well. Other people can do things differently without being wrong. And even when they actually are wrong, sometimes the right course is just to let it go unless it actually hurts the results.
