okay but also i cant stop thinking about Katabasis and Uprooted. esp the latter!! the worldbuilding was amazing, i just wish the romance was more developed. but thats kind of on me, i saw it described as a romance book and went in with very specific expectations Lmao still a really great read

i finally caved and got a kindle bc holding books has been making my wrists hurt and so ive been putting off reading for a few years now. and its soooo fun, i already finished katabasis and uprooted in like 2 weeks and i adored both so much

one of the new projects for the cordiform collection is a velvet tracksuit (sweatpants + zippered sweatsuit top) with screenprinting and it has been such slow going but i think it's finally almost done sampling!

yes!! its very useful if you have really hot summers or animals/bugs set in when your tomatoes start getting ripe. ive never noticed a change in flavor doing it this way too. i let em get full size first and then into the banana box they go!

ALSOOOO its been so hot that ive just been bringing my tomatoes inside to ripen. i have like 70 in boxes that i peer at like 👀 every day

im still working away at cordiform (almost done) but one of the new things is a sweatsuit top + sweatpants in velvet and man. the color is so delicious

heat is such a horrible trigger for my chronic conditions, i basically spent this whole heatwave in NY completely out of it but now its like 25 degrees cooler and thunderstorming so im picking blackberries and feeling alive again 🥲

my dog was kidney disease and we had to put him on a renal diet - but we have to home cook it bc he cant eat chicken or beef or dry food (which is the only option for a renal food with neither of those things) anyway my vet is getting on my nerves sooooo bad -

another backyard update: an assortment of birds (robins, starlings, etc) have herded their fledglings into the garden and are teaming up to protect the immediate area from crows. i just go out and there are a bunch of disgruntled looking babies right next to me, just hanging out 🥹
