i know mom and I often argue and I get frustrated with what she does sometimes but she's my mom at the end of the day. i was so worried that i'd lose her. i'm glad she is getting better though.

update again: Just came from the hospital visiting Mom - she is awake and somewhat alert(still a bit dopey from the meds). they are now working on getting her blood pressure back to normal levels (it's low right now) but it looks like fingers crossed the worst(septic shock) is mostly over.

the last day and a bit have felt so strange. i've been kind of numb since what happened to mom. i hope she will be released soon but we'll have to see. i will try to visit her today since the weather seems to have let up a bit

sorry i want to clarify. first i am in canada. secondly, she was getting treatment in the emergency ward which are temporary rooms that can hold beds until an ICU room was open. sorry for the confusion here

update: mom had a very bad bladder infection that they had to do surgery on. so it was a good thing i called them this morning. she is recovering now - not sure when she'll be let out, and owing to the weather i'm going to find out about visiting her tomorrow

update: mom has some kind of infection that may have spread so she is getting IV's and stuff with anti biotics and other meds. they are looking to admit her to the ICU but there are no beds at the moment. nothing new beyond that yet

Mom is at hospital - had to have 911 take her as she was vomiting blood - please pray

sick status: still sick. still sweating buckets. very weak with body pains. makes care giving for mother tough atm

I had a shitty morning, only for it to turn into a better afternoon and evening - even at work! - only for a phone call after work to torpedo my good mood and once again make me want to put my head in a blender and turn it on full power

according to my aunt and uncle they think mom and I are freeloaders basically, as my aunt said to my mom they were "done" helping me after this car issue. (my uncle is giving me rides to and from work temporarily) sigh

update: life likes to throw curve balls at me....Canadian Tire couldn't fix my car as they are now saying it's a computer issue and I had to take it to a Dodge dealership.
