On November 1, Members of Congress will still get paid during the government shutdown, unless they ask House Administration to withhold their pay, as I have. Their staff won’t see a dime.  Every Member of Congress should answer whether they will be cashing a paycheck while their team goes unpaid.

Even in the movies, scenes of the White House getting blown up by invading aliens or terrorists feel emotionally unsettling. It’s the People’s House after all. So imagine having to witness its destruction in real life…and the culprit is the President.

Due to Trump’s failed leadership (his pervious quote), the government shutdown has now reached day 21. Federal employees and their families across the country are struggling, many forced to take out personal loans just to pay their bills, and soon turning to food banks to eat.

He did everything he possibly could to overturn the election & stay in power - threatening his VP, Govs & Secs of States, organizing a mob to storm the Capitol. He knew if he ordered a military coup they would’ve refused & he would’ve been tried for treason. That’s why he left.
