Terrific. I ordered some things from John Lewis and they're using Evri. So I guess it's going to be a case of getting it this year, next year, sometime, never. What possessed JL to use such a dreadful company?

I think it's sad that the only time Melania Trump looked genuinely happy on her UK trip was when she was with the Princess of Wales meeting with a racially diverse group of scouts. Shows the strain she is under from Trump. It's true that money and power don't bring happiness.

The kids who died in the school shooting the day Kirk was murdered were infinitely more valuable human beings simply by virtue of not being kirk. They had their whole lives ahead of them, and didn't spend them building an empire to hurt their enemies. Kids like that die every day. It's the guns.

We went to the Tumps today and in the car park was a 1960s Rover 3500 V8 saloon. DId I drool over it? I did. Did I tell the owner how much I admired it? I did. Was he thrilled to bits and proud as Punch? He was. Only drawback - the petrol consumption - 19 mpg - but it was a thing of beauty.

Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell. Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass. That, right there, is the problem.

He may not be more evil than Hitler but he is clearly as evil. God help you in the U.K if he ever gets into power. Trump can’t help being a bastard because he is clearly insane but Farage knows what he is doing.

If we want to lead the way in cutting down on plastic, how about immediately banning plastic grass? Or needless plastic wrapping like that in Pear's soap. Inside the cardboard box, the soap is wrapped in thin plastic. Why? It's pointless.

I watched the programme about Klimt's painting The Kiss. One thing I noticed was that the flowers in the grass are all Pasque Flowers - which flower at Easter. And Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. Do you think this is significant? Just a thought.
