On July 4th, as the country celebrated its 250th birthday, Hyatt Regency Cambridge workers leafletted outside the property. The hotel workers are asking customers, companies, & the community not to eat, sleep, or meet in the hotel until they have a fair process to decide on unionization.

I went to the "Transparency in Mass State legislature" debate between my state rep Marjorie Decker and the challenger @evanforcambridge.bsky.social It was a disaster for rep Decker: - she had nothing to say to defend her votes to keep votes secret, cut taxes on the super rich, ignore will of voters

This was a triumph of organizing. Over two City Council hearings, almost 60 people spoke up against ShotSpotter. Their testimonies capped off years of tireless advocacy from a broad coalition including The Black Response, Digital Fourth, SURJ Boston, Cambridge for Palestine, and Cambridge DSA.
