This seems like something Congress can and should fix. Just include it alongside the ban on congressional stock trading. (Also, let's not use ableist language. That this extremely literal war profiteering is currently legal is absurd, outrageous, infuriating, corrupt, dangerous, etc.)

Choose your fighter. @tomsuozzi.bsky.social says he agrees with Trump, and signals that he simply wants to bomb Iran with a bit more decorum and ideally not for too long. I believe it is foolish to start another forever war with preemptive strikes. We already made that mistake once.
