Pathetic. HUD is supposed to serve everyone—not sling partisan mud. A fully funded HUD could do so much to fix our housing crisis. Instead, leadership pulls stunts like this. We can do so much better.

One small quibble: it isn't fair to say that bans on source of income discrimination haven't moved the needle. 37% is way to high of an incidence of discrimination, but...1/

Congress has the power to stop this from happening. But they have to exercise that power, and organized people have to force them to do so. The alternative is increasing homelessness just for kicks.
