If you suspect you’ve been discriminated against based on your source of income, it’s important to collect as much info as possible: WHO you interacted with, WHAT was said, WHEN the interaction took place, & WHERE you were renting or trying to rent #KnowYourRights. Stand up to discrimination.

If a landlord refuses to rent to you or treats you differently because of how you pay rent, you may have experienced #SourceOfIncome discrimination. Landlords can ask how a tenant supports themselves & can require proof of income, but cannot treat types of income differently. #KnowYourRights
