Today, along with the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty, we're celebrating a WIN for Española tenants, with a new settlement that will provide immediate housing justice for families and longer-term affordability for the apartment complex they call home.

Our communities deserve the basic freedom of safety and stability without fear. But right now Trump is undermining and threatening it. That’s why we’re supporting the Representatives who are fighting to protect democracy and safeguard our freedoms.

In the midst of a housing crisis, Trump's HUD proposed eliminating a crucial protection that keeps people housed. As part of the Fair Housing Act, the disparate impact rule stood between our communities, and unfair zoning and biased landlords. We're ready to fight back.
