80s micros were so fleeting, yet made such an impact. The QLβs OS actually had multitasking; you could run multiple jobs while SuperBASIC handled the foreground. For a 1984 home-business machine, that was unusually advanced.

A BBC Microβ¦ that wasnβt a BBC Micro? Meet The Dolphin. Built by Cumana in the mid-1980s, it offered the same feel and compatibility, without the price.

I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees. No refugee underfunded a school. No refugee closed a hospital. No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled. We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!

π to Windows 95, released on this day, 1995. Windows 95 was the most expensive meta advertising campaign in history. An βoperating systemβ built only to market the Weezer single, Buddy Holly, Windows 95 was actually a serviceable OS in its own right, proving quite popular.

Homestretch time for the ZX Spectrum Next campaign, with 72 hours to go. Licensing games on the go to feed the non-stop unlocked stretch goals has been... An adventure. Out Run was the one that got away, but we manage quite a few gems for the backers to enjoy!
