115 years ago today, 146 workers — mostly young immigrant women, many Jewish — died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. Their employers locked the doors. Their deaths sparked a labor movement that changed America. We carry their legacy.

Our grief continues. Our mourning deepens. As this war rages on, at least nine Israelis have been killed today in Beit Shemesh, where a synagogue shelter meant to protect life became a site of major loss.
