We’re sickened to hear of the murders of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer. A devastating loss of creativity and compassion. Reiner was an outspoken ally of the LGBTQ+ community and a lifelong activist for our rights in CA.

We are horrified and heartbroken by the mass shooting at a Hanukkah event at Bondi Beach, Australia. We mourn the lives lost and pray for the recovery of those injured, including loved ones of Keshet community members.

When a group of Jewish LGBTQ+ teens in South Florida shared with Keshet that their schools were becoming increasingly hostile to them and they had no place where they could be fully themselves, we knew we had to take action. 🧵

Today, the Supreme Court failed to protect families’ freedoms and allowed attacks on transgender youth to stand. In United States vs. Skrmetti, the Court ruled that Tennessee's law banning essential healthcare for transgender youth can remain in effect.

As we await the US Supreme Court’s decision in United States v. Skrmetti — a case that impacts life-saving medical care for trans youth — Keshet staff members Issac Young and Sawyer Goldsmith share a powerful message of solidarity and hope.
