Today is the second to last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, help make it a special one and share the #Latinsky feed across the ATmosphere. This Barrio is here to stay and we’re here to center all voices across the diaspora. Pura vida!

Our Barrio is one of many, and en la comunidad hay fuerza. We encourage our Latinsky familia to donate to @blackskyweb.xyz to help build a better and more democratized future for social media. When #Blacksky succeeds, all of us succeed.

Additionally, accounts that are engaging in harassment and hate speech will have their access of the Latinsky feeds restricted, and they will only see this post on the feeds.

Accounts that receive labels will potentially be added to our blocklist, La Chancla, if deemed appropriate.

The @latinsky.social account is taking the next step towards improving community moderation on the Latinsky feeds. Moving forward, anyone can subscribe to the labeler and report harmful content, and our feed filters will remove that content from appearing on the feeds.

Big News! The #AddToAfrolatinsky hashtag now adds accounts to both the Latinsky and Blacksky feeds!

I’d also encourage any Afrolatine coders or developers to reach out so that we can coordinate the development of new feeds/spaces like a dedicated Afrolatinsky feed. This new #AddTo hashtag was built to help any future developer make those feeds! My DMs are open.

To all the Afrolatine community out there, this space belongs to you the same way it belongs to anyone within the Latine diaspora. And if there’s anything I can do to help make this space feel more authentically yours, I will happily work to get it done.
