Hamaguchi says that Final Fantasy 6 is his favorite mainline title and that it would be very cool to take on as a remake. That being said, he's put his heart and soul into the FF7R series for over a decade now. Working on something completely new would be quite fun as well. (windowscentral, 9/24)

Pleased to report the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is excellent. Sucks to lose all the extra content from the PSP/iOS version, but the quality-of-life improvements (fast forward! optional random encounters! no more getting softlocked at Wiegraf!) make up for that. And the voice acting is stellar
